Definitely. I did command them yesterday (by my Facebook status) to win and start a long winning streak. We got the win. Let's see if they obey the rest of my command.

OK, Matsuzaka-san. Beckett stepped up last night and showed us what he was made of. Now it's your turn.

Dice-K is just excruciating to watch. Like termites gnawing on your naughty bits while getting a root canal without the laughing gas excruciating.

When Theo gets rids of him, I'll be a happy camper.

I'm afraid he is showing us what he's made of. He's made of garbage.

Damon and his smiles F you for that smirky smile $*$@O@*

How many points would we lose by if Dice stayed? Would do a poll but it be to depressing
Should just keep him in and save Tim's arm but he is in the BP so am conflicted

Oh well

Keep him in until his arm falls off. The pen shouldn't be wasted on him.

It was unreal watching those hits with the strike zone graphic in the 2nd inning. Lollipops right over the middle of the plate. I don't believe it, but it was almost like it was on purpose. Wouldn't be surprised if they put him on the DL for a "dead arm". That's the only plausible excuse they could make up for him.

I'm checking the by-laws to see if it's okay that, as President of the Lackey Haters' Club, I am also allowed to assume the presidency of the Daisuke Matsuzaka Haters' Club.

Yep. It's okay. I hate you, Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Also, I went on the record in spring training saying get rid of this guy at all costs. I have been proven righter. Just sayin'.

Wow!!! It's time to put Dice K on a slow boat to China.....IMHO. Good Grief. What a blockhead....he should have been gone before the start of the season.

I think we can all agree that Dice-K's performance tonight was criminal. So, would that mean we can have him deported?

I've <del>been to</del> heard of places where you pay extra for that.

Funny you should mention "almost like it was on purpose." I thought the same thing.

There was an air about him, like he just didn't care; he reeked of apathy; had a just get this over with expression; and an I want to go home (to Japan, because I'm homesick) look on his face.

Yes, sadly I think this might play a part in what's going on.

and I hate giving him that excuse

I suggest the Sox giving him a leave of absence so he can go home for a couple months and take care of business and then stick him in AAA for the remainer of the season.

DO NOT CUT HIM and have him shine for the Yankees

I'm just stunned after last nights loss. After taking 2 out of 3 from the skankees; how in the world does this happen? If Dice K is thinking about what has transpired in Japan recently and he's concerned about family; then I'm in agreement with letting him take a leave of absence and possibly letting him recoup in AAA.

But it's up to him to say something. It would be nice for him to get his head back in the game but if it is something of a personal nature...then take care of it. Otherwise don't let the rest of the team to hang out to dry for crying out loud with an embarrassing loss like this for Pete's sake.
