It would be cool if we had some way of betting in the Casino on pitchers hitting in the NL parks. I would envision being able to lay down a 'total base' bet that pays you back the number of TBs the pitcher earns times your bet.

So, if he skunks, you lose your bet outright.

If he gets one single or draws one walk, you get 1x your bet back (effectively, a 'push.')

If he hits a double, or two singles, or hits a single and draws a walk, etc, you get your bet back twice (your profit = your bet).

With bonus multipliers for runs driven in, of course.

This was a tough loss. The insurance run in the 8th inning was a killer. A pop up falls in followed by a bad hop single that looked like an inning ending DP. Tomorrow is Ubaldo, so things will not get easier. This team got it done at home. Will they fall back into the road woes that they have had the last few years?
