I just picked it up for the PSP.

Can't wait to get home and fire it up and knock Jeter right off the front cover!

Once I get myself a PS3, I may have to buy a copy for that system, too. Those graphics look AMAZING.

I wish EA Sports didn't lose the MLB naming rights. MVP Baseball was far and away the best (and most fun) baseball game I ever played. MLB 2K7's hitting system is too hard to be fun.

My friends and I used to have 5 inning tournaments with MVP because you could just pick up a controller and play even if you weren't that familiar with the game. We tried the same thing with MLB 2K6 and it was too hard to be fun.

I hope EA Sports gets the rights back in the next couple of years.

You probably won't want to play 2kSports other MLB game coming out this summer, The Bigs. From what I've read, the gameplay is more difficult and realistic. A 100 mph fastball will be a true 100 mph fastball, and you'll have split seconds to decide whether or not to swing.

Well, it's a fitting payback for EA getting the exclusive license on the NFL. ESPN 2k5 was the better football game that year, and it immediately died because of EA. Now the only competition to Madden is the NFL head coach game, which was so buggy that you'd spend most of your time preparing your rosters so that you wouldn't encounter any bugs.

I played the new game literally all night last night. The coolest feature for me was that the franchise mode is really deep for a PSP game. They've tied different modes into each other. If you play GM career mode, it contains the regular franchise mode, the farm, the home run derby, everything within it. Pretty cool!

So far, my favorite MLB game ever.

Looks like they're releasing The Bigs for the Wii this summer, but no 2k7. Sorry. :(
