It's back! I sent emails to the people who were in the league last year, but there are 5 openings right now.

League ID: 198575
Password: redsox

I scheduled the draft for Saturday, March 27th at 4 PM, but if that doesn't work for someone then I'm open to changing it...

I wouldn't be able to make it on a Saturday, Sunday is good if that would work for everyone else

If it's not too much trouble to ask, how does it work?

What kind of league? Roto, points, h2h? 5x5 or custom?

On draft day, you will choose the players to be on your team. Each player in MLB can be on only one fantasy team in a league. When the season starts, you'll set your lineups each day with the players on your roster. Whatever that player does in real baseball counts for your fantasy team. For example, if JD Drew hits a solo homerun and he's on your active roster your team will get credit for a HR, RBI and Run scored. Usually there are 5 pitching and 5 hitting categories, but I've played in custom leagues so long, I don't know the usual 5x5 stats off the top of my head.

It's fun. Just don't get too "attached" to your players. You may need to trade them to fill in needs.

I suck at explaining stuff, but I'll try to do my best. It's a head to head league, which means that every week you compete against another manager to see whose team can accumulate better stats. There are 5 categories for batting (R, H, RBI, HR, AVG) and 5 for pitching (W, ERA, SV, K, WHIP). Your players accumulate stats for each category, and at the end of the week whoever has better stats in a particular category gets a win in that category. So for example, if I had more R, H, HR, RBI, K, W, and SV than you, but you had a better AVG, ERA, and WHIP, I would get a record of 7-3 for the week, and you would be 3-7 for the week.

It's currently 5x5 and h2h.

Thank you very much. It looks like you have to follow it closely and at present I really don't have the time to devote to it. Have fun!

We need four more spots. If any of you know anyone else who might be interested in playing, feel free to invite them.

I just set the draft order. It is as follows:
1. Manchester Wolves
2. Way Back
3. mikiemo83
4. Bases Loaded
5. WhatsOneMoreTeam
6. The Abusement Park
7. Manny's BT's
8. Bringing Sexy Back

I also changed the max number of teams from 12 to 8 to prevent anyone else from joining. I'm somewhat disappointed that we couldn't get 12 teams, but I'm sure we'll have a great season anyway. Best of luck with your pre-daft planning.
