as a fan of the team this have been the most quiet of spring training camps, so as I sit here with no radio at work I started to ponder which I prefer as a fan
"camp peaceful" - like we have in RedSox nation today - no issues all love no war
or
"Camp Chaos" - the days of Manny being Manny/ Pedro late for his fathers birthday/ Roger with head phones / or Wade Boggs getting run over

Give me a professional atmosphere any day. This team is trying to win.

I don't like the BS controversy that the Boston media stirs up. Like who is the ace, who should be traded, who is disgruntled.
But I hate that the Red Sox don't seem to have as much personality as they did in years past. Papi, Youk, and Pedroia are great, but everybody else seems to be robots.
I don't miss Manny's crybaby act, just his bat. But a little personality would be nice.

I was tempted to say "only in Boston," but I bet there are fans of a few other teams who would be scared by a quiet training camp.

The idiots were still professionals. They may have had fun, but they showed up ready to play, got along and won. I have no problem with characters, it's the nonsense I can do without.

I voted "camp peaceful." I interpret it to be the calm before the storm. A sign that it's going to be a very good year. The Sox will be a force to be reckoned with, leaving the AL East in the dust. :thumb:
