Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I have a friend that just moved to Baltimore a week ago. She's within walking distance of Camden Yards and went to her first Sox game Saturday. She loved it.

thanks for sharing. camden yards is a nice stadium. even if you don't like the sox or o's, or baseball even, i invite anybody to experience it. it's very laid back, and family friendly place.

I had a trip to Camden Yards booked for the weekend following 9/11. Obviously they cxl'd all sporting events that weekend so they postponed the series to the very end of the season - which ended up being Cal Ripken's final series ever.
I couldn't go as I had a Vegas trip booked. Originally, Ripken's farewell game was at Yankee Stadium. People were reportedly paying $1000 for tickets. I was giddy. I put them on eBay... Not even a single bid! Ended up selling them to a girl I went to HS with for face-value... Unbelievable.
Ashamed to stay, I still have not been to Camden Yards.

a great take, I wanted to head down this summer but life shit got in the way
I will make it next season on a non redsox game so the crowd will be minimal and taking kids easier

Well not surprising when we got there it was like one huge sox tailgate. I actually felt bad for the orioles... i mean i'd break it down to say 80% there were wearing sox gear, 10% orioles and 10% phillies. It actually wasn't that crowded either. not a all. i guess later in the season when the orioles have no hope of doing anything is the best time to go there with little crowd.
