I'm in danger of not meeting my minimum innings pitched this week (during the playoffs!) because two of my starters are being skipped this week. (Wakefield and Happ). I figured I better pick up a starter, so I went to add Masterson who has been looking ok with his new team (although he doesn't have much to show for it) and should fare pretty well against KC tomorrow.
Well, I have Willie Taveras on my DL. But he is no longer on the real DL. Yahoo won't let you make a roster move until that is corrected. No problem. I dropped Taveras - I never played the guy even before he was hurt. But the drop doesn't become effective until tomorrow, so it still won't let me add a player today. And if I add him tomorrow, he won't be added to my team until Saturday so I will miss the Friday start that I need for minimum innings. There better be someone starting Saturday or Sunday who can at least give me some innings or I'm dead. I am winning my matchup as of now, but if I forfeit all the pitching categories because I don't have enough innings, I will be out.
