No its me....my twisted mind is constantly turning everyday phrases and perfectly innocent sayings into blatant home-erotic inuendo. I am really starting to wonder about myself.

I really like how after Varitek was pinch-run for by Gathright, Francona put Kottaras in as catcher, which allowed him to pinch-hit Martinez for anyone if a key-situation came up, not just for the catcher. Even though he ended up pinch-hitting for the catcher, I like the way it was handled. Good managing.

I'm usually too quick to jump on Francona, which is stupid, because he has two World Series rings and I don't.
But yeah, good call. I was listening to the game on XM at work, and the first thing I thought was, "Wow, Francona played that hand pretty well."
