Who was the last Red Sox pitcher to strike out 4 batters in one inning, and in what year did it occur?

I'd guess Tim Wakefield, but what year? I don't know ... 2004?

The only thing I could come up with was Saberhagen, but I think we had him well after his gold glove days.

How about Mike Boddaker when he was with us?

+1, I looked it up. It was him (in 1990). Very good.

Wakefield is right, 8-10-1999 vs. KC.

He actually had 6 strikeouts in 1.2 innings, which is awesome.

I guessed Wakefield because it seemed more likely that one of his third strikes would get away from his catcher.

When Boddicker was on, his curveball was nasty.

On other boards I've been a member of, whoever gets the last question right gets to ask the next one. However, unlike what I did, you are supposed to wait for the original question asker to confirm that you got it right.

Does that mean taltos goes next?
