name at birth is David Jonathan so why or how did he get the name or nickname of JD?

Did you hear Tito call Nancy out for being a puss during Friday's post-game press conference? Apparently, JD claims that he tweaked his hammy jogging the bases on his two-run homer and asked not to play the bottom of the 9th.

Keep in mind Tito was so short handed he had to put in Clay Buchholz in to the game to pinch run!

Man, does he suck! The sooner this tool is off the team (and they find a viable replacement) the better.

From Wikipedia:

His parents shortened it almost immediately after birth, figuring if he had to write out his full name on every school paper, he'd probably miss 70% of his school days with sprained fingers...
