What always appealed to me at this board is that we seem to have a good selection of "mature" posters. And by that, I mean people who can remember staying up past their bed time to watch the 75 series. And the younger ones seem to be respectful enough of their elders.

I wish it has worked out because I don't want to have to read two different Sox boards. If there's anough traffic here, this could be my only board.

The funny thing is, they created that lawless board back in March and no one registered until a few days ago.

In my humble opinion, most of the ESPN refugees really dont hate the ESPN board as much as they claim. Some people like drama. Most of them seem to be that kind of person. In a few weeks i bet the vast majority of them will be back posting at ESPN. That doesnt make them bad people. If they are happy in that environment, more power to them. Me i like things calm and quiet.


Thats not to say that they couldnt co-exist here, but what gives this board its identity is its complete lack of drama. We all like each other here. About the most drama here is when someone goes off the deep end and disses Timmay Wakes, and ive had a few beers. :soapbox:

Anyway, just my two cents. Maybe a couple of them will stick around. If not i hope they are happy where ever they end up :)

Its ok. I finally figured it out. We were y'alls rebound board. You had just finally left your abusive board and hooked up the first board you came across with a pretty face and then projected a whole lot of your anger and frustration onto it, even though it was mostly innocent.

So even though for a while we were hurt and confused, we are just glad that you have all been able to move on and pull yourselves up by the bootstraps and live your message boarding lives all on your own.
