Honestly, the NYY are so badly mismanaged that I feel bad for them (well not really, but you get the point). They should just blow it up this year and trade their veterans for prospects and try to rebuild internally.

With the Steinbrenner buffoons running the show and cashman at the helm, it'll never happen. For that, I am thankful.

Unbelievable. Just think how different this game would be if Sabathia gets through the 8th and you're facing Riviera in the 9th.
Just how bad the rest of the BP is is mind boggling.

If Wang was pitching well and Hughes serviable as a start Joba would be the 8th inning guy
but that is not the case

The Bruney injury really screwed up their bullpen.

Which in and of itself speaks volumes about their bullpen.

True. The reality is Joba the Hut really screwed there bullpen because the MFY's need him for the 8th inning. But because they can't get any consistency from their young pitchers they have to start him.
It really breaks my heart to see their struggles.

Yup. They jsut don't seem to get that it's not about getting the best player at every position, but getting the right player at every position.
