I don't know, Ichiro has been white hot lately. Hell, I can't believe Mauer is still hitting over .400. It's always nice to think he'll end up with the Sox, but I wonder where he WILL end up.

My main concern is that the Yankees are also in need of a new, longer term catcher.

If we can't have him, I'm hoping the Twins do the right thing and sign him long term. It is nice to see an exceptional player stay with the same team.

Mauer isn't available until 2011 anyway. So if either the MFY's or Sox want him they will have to wait or come up with a an enticing package to get him in a trade. Probably along the lines of Buchholz and Anderson.
