I dunno about you all but I sure could go for a beer right now.

Maybe a Harpoon UFO or a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

How about you?

There is some Dead Guy Ale or something at Publix that is 14 bucks for a 6 pack that i want to try so bad. But i cant justify spending 14 bucks on six beers when i can get 12 of something very good for 14 bucks.

I have one more Sam Adams in my fridge. Im trying optimize my drinking of it tonight. I dont want to drink it too early and then want more , but i dont want to wait to long and end up too sleepy to appreciate it.

Nope, I meant to post that you posted exactly what I would have. Although occasionally I spring for a 120 minute, and I do still like the 60 as a "drinker", but all in all, the 90 is just superb!

It must be the pain meds I'm on. :) I'm dense. I agree with you. Great beer and my favorite.

Yup! Although I made the mistake of trying the maple and walnuts one, blech, definitely not to my taste, I've had 2 bottles sitting in my fridge for over a year now.

I'm not much on the flavored beers. I might go with a pumpkin ale in the fall but that is about as far as I'm willing to go.

I don't know. Maybe I haven't had the right one. I may need to do some more extensive research in this field.

Now, stouts, on the other hand, get along famously with me.

Roger that. A 6-pack of a pumpkin ale is about as fruity as I'll go in a calendar year.

Have you tried the Dogfish head 60 minute or 90 minute? It was like opening a new door on IPAs for me, I was always a stout guy, always, until I tried them.

I have tried all of them. The 60 minute is nice. I like hops but the 120 minute was a bit much for me. But the 90 minute is sublime. I love that beer.

Right now I am trying the Rogue Imperial Pale Ale and it's pretty good.

From what I hear, everything they make is top notch. I almost pulled the trigger on their Summer Ale but I went in specifically for this and reminded myself "just get what you wanted and try that next time."

I just finished a 6 pack of Rogue Dead Guy Ale (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/132/355), and a 6 pack of Sweetwater Brewing Company 420 Extra Pale Ale (http://thedisgruntled.blogspot.com/2007/12/beer-blogging-sweetwater-brewing-420.html)

I got the Dead Guy on sale for half price. Its normally 14 bucks a sixpack. :o

The 420 was on sale too, but im not sure what the regular price is.

I liked both well enough that if i had the opportunity i would drink both again. But i wouldnt pay 14 bucks for a sixpack.
