I figured if anymore Chiefsplanet people come by, we better have a Ty Law thread.

I heard from my cousin's wife's uncle's neighbor's son that he heard from an unnamed source within the Chief's organization that Law is LEANING towards signing with the Chiefs.

I think we all know Ty well enough to know exactly what he's doing: he's waiting until training camp is well underway, so a.) he doesn't have to report and waste summertime and/or energy, and b.) he can wait until a club maybe loses a corner and gets a little needier.

Having said that, I think he's probably narrowed it down to the Pats, Chiefs, Fins, maybe one or two other teams. Whoever comes calling in preseason with a good offer probably gets him.

As for the Pats... Would he be a good addition? Yes. Do they need him? Hard to say right now. We need to have other questions answered first, like, "Is Rodney going to be back by midseason in his old form?" and "Is Eric Warfield ready to play at a high level or is he another Duane Starks/Tyrone Poole addition?"

No, he isn't leaning, he's simply bending down low to get closer to Carl Petersen's wallet. I'd put a chain on that bad Larry ASAP.

I'm no longer thinking about Law coming back to the Pats. He's like a chick that says she's interested, but every time you call her up she's busy helping her "Mother". Then, you find out she was actually pulling train in a junkyard with your buddies from work.

He should get off the pot, but you just know he will hang in until the last moment before the actual season starts and sign with whoever pays him one dollar more than the other guys.

Then, he will start the season fat and out of shape and have to learn the playbook in a few days.

What a hoo-ah.
