New Pirates pitching coach. Apparently he used to be the Red Sox pitching coach.

So, what can you guys tell me about him? Is he any good?

He was pitching coach during Pedro's heyday i believe. So, either he made Pedro what he was, or Pedro made Kerrigan what he was. :D

Sox pitching coach under Jimy Williams. He coached Pedro both in Boston and Montreal. Was always considered a good pitching coach when he was here. Pedro won 2 CY Young's with Kerrigan as his pitching coach. Replaced Jimy Williams as Sox manager when he was fired in 2001. Then was replaced next year by Grady Little! :(
