I have been there. You are a good Dad. I am an old blow hard. Don't worry about me. Cash is in because Tito has been replacing regulars. So he pulled Papi, Lowell and Tek. And I guess Cash played a little 3rd base in AAA.

Pauley in to wrap things up!
I have a question. Seeing as I dont see many Sox games out here, and have to rely on MLB gameday for info, it seems that every time I see the name "Smith" in the pitching stats, he is getting bombed. Am I missing something?

The only thing you are missing is he is not pitching when it counts. And you won't see him in the post season so relax.

I missed almost the whole game because I was out coaching my son's first fall season ball game (yep, we're the Red Sox).
Good game tonight. The Sox haven't hit that many HR's in a game since 2003. Sweet!
Tomorrow night = Huge

Typical September callup guy. Just saving some other guy's arm from throwing pointless innings. He pitches when they can afford to give up 2-run dongs. He's definitely no one worth brushing up on. He's just here for a cup of coffee :)

What happened to the guy who used to scream at opposing players?
Are there just too many people in attendance to hear him anymore?

Are they? Haven't been to a game yet, but was asked out a few weeks ago and declined. I heard they were friendly and fun. Maybe I should go and act uppity just to see what happens. :)

I think what happens now is fans will come out to Sox/Yankees and a couple other games and it is not all Sox fans at teh trop
it is a strange place but I am not an indoor stadium type

Brutal?? I've only been 4x, and 3 of those were Sox games where half the stadium was filled with BoSox fans anyway. In past years the Rays fans have been pretty good, but I have noticed a little more spunk in them this year :pirate2:
We have seen a few weirdos at the games, but I'm not entirely sure it's the fandom so much as the FL natives :poke: :p

Well, the guy who went told me there were lots of BoSox fans there and he said they were friendly but so were the TB ones.
You gotta be careful with Floridians on thinking doing things the way they're done up North. It really po's them. There's even bumper stickers and signs on it. Heh!

Heh! I'm not a native. I was born in Boston, grew up in the suburbs and worked my early years of my career up there.
Besides, how many native Floridians has anyone met down here. I think it might be .125 %.

:p Ya, I sort of knew that, but technically once you're in FL 10+ years you earn your "cracker" status and become a native, right? Or is it 20?
I work in an office of 10 people. Of those, 2 were born/raised here and 1 has been in FL for over 30 years (originally from Indiana) so technically she's a cracker. So your percentage isn't that far off.
I know when I've met people who are FL natives my reaction is some sort of bizarre fascination by it, like they're some kind of strange anomaly. And yet, back in Worcester, it was just the opposite. People who WEREN'T from the area were sometimes met with "WTFWHYAREYOUHEREOFALLPLACES?!" LOL....

Oh, central inland and rural....I hear that's where the crackers are.
The coasts are still mainly nawthun-ahs.
