I know that it has been awhile since I posted but I am still here lurking....I have noticed since I came back that the board has been Library quiet around here...maybe its just bad timing on my part.:shrug_n2:

I have now seen everything there is to see in a baseball game. Wow.

Just got home... was out practicing with the band. I should avoid the game threads more often it seems.
Too bad the Rays opened up a can o' whoop ass on the Indians. Yanks are trailing Texas 5-2. Texas is kind of on fire right now.

Jason Bay hit a ball that landed atop the wall, rolled from CF to LF for about 6-10 feet, the LF jumped up and swiped it BACK into the park. Prevented a HR. Damndest shit EVRRRRR.

Beckett gets into double-digits.
Can't wait to see that play again.

Didn't that also just happen in Yankee Stadium when the Sox were there, and Johnny Damon injured himself?
I would think MLB could easily fix this problem by simply making the top of the wall a round piece of foam (resembling a pipe) instead of a flat one. That way, the ball will either be in, or out.

The Damon play was really nothing compared to what happened tonight. The ball was played and missed by the KC centerfielder. It popped onto the top of the wall and literally rolled and rolled a considerable way along the top of the wall toward left field. The LF'er made a hell of a heads up play by running over, jumping up and ripping the ball off the wall. It was really amazing and a nice play by the KC left fielder to prevent a possible HR.

Yanks lose 8-6 to the Rangers as A-rod hits into a game ending double play.
