I agree with you, that game was theirs to steal and they blew. They couldn't have played much worse and were hanging in there. Not sure of the some of the lineups that Doc had in there.

I don't know if this is the reason for some of Doc's later line ups but from Rondo's blog on Yardbarker last night/today...(and yes I do really read his blog and check out his new website...when I say I love Rondo I mean it)
"If you were watching the game you know that I injured my ankle in the third quarter. It happened on a fast break and I rolled it. I think I may have stepped on someone's foot, but I still haven't seen the play. It's a different feeling than I've ever had. I've injured my ankle before but this one is unlike the others. The pain is on the inside of my foot. All the other ankle sprains have been on the outside. I will be getting a lot of treatment tonight, tomorrow, Thursday to try to get it ready to go for game 4. I did try to go again in the fourth quarter, but I really couldn't make any hard cuts. No one is 100% at this point, but I was probably 50%. Coach made the right decision taking me out because I didn't have my quickness. E House did a great job filling in. When his name was called he was ready to play and that's big for us."

As frustrating as last night was, I remain optimistic that they'll snag a game in LA.
Pierce and Garnett could not have shot any more poorly than they did last night and, Kobe aside, I'll take the Celtics D over the rest of the Lakers O every night.

I like how you think...5 works for me.

I'd rather have Rondo at 50% bringing the ball up than House, did you see Allen scream at him and go and get the ball from during one possession.

I'd rather have House than that bag of dicks, Sam Cassell.
To think I was so in favor of bringing him here. Awful!

Cassell hits a shot and never stops, but if he misses he keeps trying until he hits and then continues...either way he sucks right now...not a team player

Couple things:
-What is KG doing taking all these long jumpers? Outside, two-point jump shots are the most inefficient possessions in basketball, and every time KG drives at Gasol he beats him. So why the heck isn't he driving more or why aren't they getting it to him in the post?
-Sam Cassell needs to be benched for the rest of The Finals. It is infuriating to watch him bring the ball up the court and take a wild jump shot before even passing it around. At point guard, it should be:
1. Rondo
2. Eddie "We Must Protect This" House
3. Anyone other than Sam Cassell
4. Sam Cassell
Overall though, I feel pretty good. It sucks that they lost last night, but KG and Pierce were awful and they only barely lost.
