This is a must win for the C's. Perkins is on the floor as is Pierce. We shall see how they hold up...what the extent of the injuries are.
They have done a good job containing Kobe holding him to under 35% shooting in three games. If the Lakers are to win, some other guys need to show up. C's need to keep up their dominate defense.
I really wish I was at the game tonight. I love being there.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE KOBE FOUL OUT!!!! Can you imagine the roar at the garden?
Good looking first half...one more to go. The Celtics are usually strong in the third.
I cannot believe how nervious I am.

Tighten up on the defense...stop the Lakers from chipping away at the lead.

21 points in 15 minutes...big time kudos to Powe...Love the rebound by Posey to ice the game. The bench was strong tonight.
And who had 16 assists tonight...Rondo sometimes takes too long to make decisions and drives me crazy but 16 assists is huge. I love the guy.

and look below for my love of Powe

Mikoemo...I have noticed your love for Powe...you have good taste in basketball players. Seriously though, it is great to see bench players take advantage of their opportunities.
Thanks for the company last night Superchief...it was you and me last night. I was shifting between the TV and the radio because the AC is in the computer room!!!
I am sooooo excited and cautiously optimisitic about this series.

Pierce saved the day in this one. He is the Finals (and playoffs) MVP so far for the Celts. The Lakers have no one who can guard him.
I don't know if I've ever seen a team come as close to blowing a 24-point lead that late in a game as the Celts did last night. I'm thinking the Lakers will play inspired basketball in Game 3. I expect Doc to lengthen the bench in that one to wear the Lakers down, and press for a victory in Games 4 or 5.

I agree that Pierce is the series MVP.
I think that the Celtics know that they almost blew game 2...by not playing intense defense as they usually do. While the Lakers may play inspired, I think the Celtics will also. If they didn't know before, they now know that the Lakers never give up and fight to the end. I expect the Celtics to want to put them away as quickly as possible and win number 17.
Apparently though the Vegas odds makers agree with you.
I want a sweep...however, unrealistic that may be.
