Why don't you just worry about your own ass ace?
I'm sure we can find some post where you have criticized some school for forcing faggotry on school kids.
When I came up in the 60's we said school prayer every day and The Pledge. They also beat the shit out of us. back then US kids fell to second or third in reading and math skills in the world.
Today. Bwahahahaha. The US ranks 23rd. And yet all these educated morons are smart enought to believe there is no Christ.

If you're an FSU grad, then I would assume they give away diplomas in that school like toilet paper.

There's a separation between church and state. You want to pray to whatever God you pray to, fine, you're free to do so as long as you do it on your own time and not on the taxpayers' dime.
Public schools get public funding, therefor they must abide by that separation. That's why private schools can follow whatever religion they please.

I have no problem with creationism being taught in public school, as long as it's part of a philosophy or comparative religions class.
It should never be part of a science class, in either public or private schools, because it is not science.

oh your one of them are you!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!
:D
I agree with seperation but to be honest since the removal of God from the Public schools things have gone down hill fast...I just think that small reminder kept religious guilt in the front and maybe helped keep the little shits we have today from being little shits.
screw it, keep it seperated so the church can stop being blamed for the evils of today...the end is near my friend and I for one anm not waiting to the final days to get in line and find me some God

It's a melting pot where there are multiple religions. So, in a public shool, making Jewish or Muslim kids pray to a Christian God is, in a certain sense, rather blasphemous in their own religion.
I think this goes beyond one's beliefs. It's simply a matter of society and having to make sure the system can function for all and not a few.

I have no idea.
There was a Bible literature class offered when I was in high school. The Bible was studied as literature rather than religious revelation, but I never took the class.

why must it be one God not the other when he/she is probably the same person?

I disagree, I'm Atheist(or at least that's how most would "classify" me) I have faith in My family, true friends, and my abilities to support/teach/learn from those that I care about.
Whew, there's something we can disagree about! ;)

yeah I thought of Atheist after the fact, that is a wrench in the plan. but you believe in the goodness of the family structure, including friends...to me christianity is very similar but they hold themselves to a standard someone else set and are judged on it by a figure head named God
an atheist acts as his/her own figure head - so to speak and answers to themself. something all christians should do in addition to answering to this God figure
the christian has faith that makes him answer to a God Figurehead, as God in not seen the Atheist transforms the responsibility of answering onto themself -sort of similar but yet very different.
but regardless of teachings my God is slightly different than the one my religion teaches as I interpet things slightly diferent than the scholars who came before me have. not saying they are wrong and I am right, just saying it is what my faith leads me to believe based on the reading I have done
so to each there own, some people need that outside hand to grab onto while others don't
the simple thing is regardless of belief we should all take accountability for our actions- today I feel that can be lost in some of the future generations

I had a Huffy, it was Yellow and had a banana seat. :D
I was always a "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" kinda guy, my mother raised me catholic, watching her struggle raising two pain in the ass kids it didn't make sense to me to put faith in a higher power after researching, asking the family priest questions and getting text book answers. I feel no being is going to pull/help me through life, so I made it a point to learn from my parents mistakes and teach my kids to learn from my mistakes. No beings, just common sense and caring about others .... all the true sycophants/egotistical/a-holes I know are catholic and born again christians "the do as I say not as I do" mentality.
Accountability for ones own actions .... if only more people thought that the world would be a better place. :purgatory: :)

so we both got the same belief...um I mean values :D I just talk to an imaginary friend at times
**edit* my huffy was lime green I think with a big Banana seat that fell off as I went over a jump, luckily I did not have me prostate checked that day as I stayed standing :D
