I guess I will get this game day thread started.
We need to keep the home court mojo going. I expect the C's to come out strong.

Lebron just reached in and got a turnover from Pierce with 5 min's left and got a no call when he clearly fouled him. But, at least I can see missing that call, unlike the ridiculous one in game 6 when they called Pierce for charging when Lebron was totally in motion.

Pierce played the game of his life...with LeBron getting the calls going his way and Pierce not getting calls on obvious fouls.
You can see what the veterans bring to the playoffs...Brown, House, Posey.
I was at the game and I have never ever heard the Garden so loud...I thought the roof was going to blow off it was so loud. The crowd really showed their appreciation to Pierce, KG, House and PJ Brown. It was good to hear.

If the C's go onto great things this year, I don't think I'll ever forget PJ Brown's contributions in the clutch this Game 7 - JR Redmond/Wiggins-like performance (those who know, will know what I'm talking about). I loved the energy House brought to this game as well.

So true about PJ Brown...it was great to see his emotion after making that last shot. He is usually so calm.
House not only brought emotion to the game but to the fans as well.

when the real big three Celtics got old a young up and coming team, the Pistons, knocked them out
too bad the Celtics new Big three are not a young up and coming team but a old getting to know each other at this time of the season one
I am proud of Paul for playing like he did, he gave his all but he can not have any more 4 point games like he did against Cleveland

Mikiemo...the good news here is that the Pistons are not a young and upcoming team. They are also on the downside...age-wise that is. I think what they have going for them is experience in big games situations and years of playing together.

yeah I am hoping the celtics are the up and coming team but they are already old at 3 key spots.....I think it is the Celtics turn to knock the Pistons out

They are old at three spots and you have to be wondering if Ray Allen is done...it is not just his shooting but his ball control and defense. The other problem is they have two inexperienced starters in Perkins and Rondo. Perkins hasn't played great and Rondo has been off and on. Hate to say it about Rondo because you all know I love him. Much of the playoffs can be about experience in big game situations and how you handle the pressure.
That being said...I am remaining optimistic. I do think the Celtics can beat the Pistons.

Perk is making himself a servicable Center but needs to stop the "who me?" face when called for a foul
Rondo will be fine, I say he steps it up this series
Allen may be a tough call covering Rip Hamilton, I hope he hasn't lost it...I wonder if his nkles are OK, he seems to be a step slow, even Wally Szerbiak was running with him
Paul needs to maintain his game 7 performance against Prince and those long arms
KG just be himself
