I have said this from the beginning, from the moment that Joe Lieberman decided to buck the Democratic party, that his mental involvement with Israel is so deep that he will do whatever it takes to ensure that the United States maintains a large military presence in Iraq, and the middle east as a deterrent to any of the Arab nations mounting an attack on Israel. That is why he is stumping for John McCain, obviously.

I have no problem with Lieberman, or any one else supporting Israel, as I do, but not at the cost of American lives that are being lost for nothing.

Joe Lieberman is Jewish and I too was raised Jewish and I have a personal love for the state of Israel, but I will not abandon my American citizenship or my love of my country at the expense of American Lives that are being killed for nothing but lies and deceit.

1. Joe Lieberman didn't "buck" the democratic party. The democrat party "bucked" him. They did that years ago when they decided to appeal to left wing nut jobs. Liberman and Zell Miller are the last real democrats left. The rest have the DailyKos, Huffintonpost and MoveOn up their ass.

2. Past administrations have protected Israel. Why should Lieberman be any different although your point is bogus in the first place?

3. The brigades in Iraq could not be used to protect Israel. They don't have the logistics or the proper personnel to perform that mission.

4. Joe Liberman neither now nor in a McCain administration will have any say over the military other than his single US Senate vote.

My uncle was great friends with a US Congressman and he got me in the Navy, AOCS at Pensacola. Most of the students in military schools are from military families.
