Kobe Bryant has been voted the NBA MVP for 2007-2008, according to the LA Times. Kobe's first MVP award will be officially presented next week.
Bryant averaged 28.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season, leading the Lakers to the top seed in the historicly competitive Western Conference. Voting should be revealed soon, but we're guessing it was a thin margin between Bryant and runner-up Chris Paul. May. 2 - 11:13 pm et
