I just want the Celtics to go up by 20 and stay up by 20. I need a nice relaxing night. I don't know why they can't just finish the Hawks.

was going to say that. they need to get some separation, but the refs aren't helping. pierce with 4 fouls already is ridiculous!

they lose this series, doc has to go. i don't care for this lackadaisical style of playing. team needs more discipline especially in the playoffs.

foul calling is ridiculous too. every little tap by our defense gets the call, meanwhile they can basically mug us and get away with it.

I really didn't understand the shot selection at the end of the game. When the Celts were down 100-99 with less than a minute left, Ray Allen threw up a three, rather than trying to work the ball to Garnett in the paint or at least driving to the hoop and hopefully picking up a foul. Then, when they had the ball with about 10 secoinds left, down by 3, they went inside for a bucket in the paint when they really did need to shoot a 3.
I don't know if the Larry Bird era Celtics would have won this game (they would), but they most definitely would have been taking the right shots.
Foul shots for the series:
Atlanta - 204
Boston - 133

Even if they win tomorrow, my confidence has been shaken that they can beat Cleveland. Give me a break, they are making Atlanta looked like the Lakers when they play in Atlanta. This isn't the same team that we saw during the regular season.

actually there was only 13 seconds left and it was 100-98, that is what make the 3 pointer even more questionable.

Is there any chance that the Celtics can actually blow this? They are looking more and more like a regular season power house that can't step up their game for the playoffs. Call it the Kevin Garnett factor. :(

In a 7th game, anything could happen, so yes, they can lose this series. I think it's a little unfair to blame Garnett.

Just look at his playoff record.

I had to decompress today. Last night's loss was tough. Again I say, maybe I am a homer, but it really feels like the calls are going against the Celtics. I can't believe this is true but I sometimes think the NBA is against the Celtics.
I have really fallen in love with this team and don't want to see them knocked out of the first round.

I have been a supporter of Doc...I like his style but if they don't win this series he may have to go.

I love Rondo but he should never be taking the last shot of a game.

I think you have a point...today I was wondering if the reason the big three have not really won anything is because they choke in the playoffs or is because they don't have good players around them. Today I have to ask that question.
I don't think we should just be blaming Garnett. I think we have to look at Pierce, Garnett and Allen. That being said...I am hooked on this team.

Well, I am glad they won. And I wish them well for as long as they keep playing.
