Mike Bibby ripped Celtics fans a day before his Hawks will have to face them in Boston for Game 2.
The Hawks point guard lit into Celtics' fans before practice Tuesday. "They were kind of loud at the beginning," he said. "But a lot of these fans are bandwagon jumpers trying to get on this now. I played here last year, too. And I didn't see three fourths of them. They're for the team now and they might get a little rowdy but that's about it." He wasn't done. "I remember them having bags on their heads [last year]. It's a different look. I guess that's what happens when you win...But they are fair-weather fans if you ask me." As I was listening to Bibby I was thinking how could one player be so stupid? What was the point of his comments?

The comparison to last year is just wrong. Although the crowds last year were no way as enthusiastic as this year, there were fans who supported the kids on last year's team.

Atlanta is the worst sports City in the Country, Bibby should be worrying about getting good tee-times next week...dumb ass.

Mike Bibby's pretty qualified. He's played in a lot of losing team's arenas in his pro career. Particularly his own team's.

Dude, what do you expect when your worst to first! The band comes back to play?

The best way to get your team good is to not show up when you're a fan (when your in a big market city like us)

Nah what were they?

Lemme guess - "Perk can't really do nothing but put his body out there, he cant shoot or really play defense. He gets a block or rebound when hes lucky."

Thats just what I would say tho.
