How lucky is he? He also did the Northeastern(plate) and BC(1st base) games too. It was weird seeing him chatting it up w/Pedroia during a timeout, and Lowell, both of whom he said were very friendly. Unfortunately they butchered our last name in the box score at mlb.com. :cuss:

He'll be doing 1st base today and I have a favor to ask. If it's on TV, I would be ever so grateful if someone could record and burn it to a DVD. I'm working so I didn't have a chance to go(free admission too!!), and it's not on TV here. I know it's extremely short notice but if you're able to, I will gladly pay anything reasonable, and at the very least shipping expenses. :thumb:

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize it's not an official spring training game so it's not on TV. I think it's just AAA players :(

Thanks Mikie.

I didn't realize it was one of those unofficial games like the college games last week. It's Sox/Twins but with none of the major leaguers AFAIK, so it's definitely not on TV. I can't even find it mentioned at redsox.com

And not that it matters now, but I just can't go to Pats Planet right now. It still hurts too much. :(

Aah, found a something about it in the Sox Notes at redsox.com:

Colon and Beckett: While the Red Sox travel to Jupiter to play the Marlins for their first long bus ride of Spring Training, ace Josh Beckett will pitch a "B" game at City of Palms Park in the late morning.

In addition, Bartolo Colon -- who was signed by the Sox last week -- will throw his first side session.

Jason Varitek and Sean Casey will both get some at-bats in the "B" game, which is against the Twins.

Well at least Tek and Beckett will be there.
