The software I had set up on celticsplanet.com was not very secure, nor was it easy to manage. I decided the best thing to do for now was to roll the site into here.

This is Celtics Planet now. In fact, if you go to celticsplanet.com, you will come here. You can surf the whole place under celticsplanet.com.

But I mean, it is the same deal as before. I threw the site up because a few people requested it. If the guys who wanted it and can devote time to it can make something out of it, then we can do more with it. But at least with having it here with the Sox board, it may get a little more traffic, especially if anyone posts some threads for discussion. Plus it now has all the nifty features of this board and is much easier to manage.

But again, celticsplanet exists by request. I am willing to do whatever I can to help, but people who are passionate about it need to get it going. If it became successful enough, I would certainly be willing to divorce it from Soxplanet again with its own VB installation. That costs $160, so the board would need to have some kind of success and some passionate people to help run it before I can do that.

ie: Could you have a Celtics sig image when posting in the Celtic Planet threads.... a Redsox sig image when posting in Sox planet..... Patriot sig image when on the temp Planet.

I don't think it's possible. Your sig is tied to your screen name. Unless you wanted to post with a different name on each board, you couldn't have separate signatures. Even if you changed it manually, it would change on every post you have ever made.

There may be a mod. I will look into it. One thing you COULD do if you wanted a different identity for the Celtics board is register under the http://www.celticsplanet.com domain with a new name. I believe the cookies are separate from the soxplanet cookies.

No different than before really. Have one window open to soxplanet.com and the other to celticsplanet.com with your two different IDs signed in to each.
