The Patriots released information regarding their 2008 ticket prices today, noting that the increase is their first since the end of the 2004 season.
Here is a bit from the press release:
Patriots season ticket holders will be sent renewal invoices starting next week. All season ticket renewal invoices must be returned by March 31. Once renewals are processed, any available season tickets will be made available to those on the season ticket waiting list. Additionally, a limited number of tickets have been reserved for a general, individual-game sale this spring.
For more information on season ticket renewals, waiting list applications or general information on the team, please visit patriots.com.
Lower Level Sideline -- $169
Lower Level Corner/End Zone -- $117
Mezzanine Level Corner/End Zone -- $117
Upper Level Sideline -- $89
Upper Level Corner (Rows 1-7) -- $89
Upper Level Corner (Rows 8-26) -- $65

The Patriots’ eight regular-season home opponents have been determined. New England will host each of its three AFC East division rivals (Buffalo, Miami and the New York Jets) in addition to a pair of teams from the AFC West (Denver and Kansas City), two teams from the NFC West (Arizona and St. Louis) and the 2007 AFC North Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ouch, our seats will be up $28 since last year - times 10 games = $280/seat!

(I had a feeling this would happen.....):(

Meh. They went from "very expensive and impossible to get" to "ridiculously expensive and impossible to get". Probably would've went down with the fans a lot easier if they hadn't @#$&ed up the Super Bowl, though...

IIRC my EZ seats were $34 apiece in 2001 ($117 apiece this upcoming season). Wow. That's almost a 20% increase every year on average since then. Ahhhh, how sweet the smell of success must be to the Krafts. Right in the middle of a recession, this jump is large enough to undoubtedly put a dent into the season ticket waiting list.

Already having the highest priced tickets in the league, this puts real pressure on the organization to be a winner ad inifinitum. Kraft better pray for the continued health of Brady and the vindication of Belichick this offseason. Because if this ship ever begins to turn, at these prices, the stadium will be 1/2 full again.

Kraft has now screwed up big time. This is a 50% increase in the cost of my ticket, which was extrememly expensive to begin with.

Thanks Bob....yeah the team had a pretty good season, again, but please....this is the thanks I get for yelling every time the other team is huddling on offense, and setting up for the play.

Life isn't fair, we all know that but.....guess what...

They Should Pay Fans Like Me To Go To The Game

Go fug yourself krafty

p.s......waiting list people, you think you're so great...well you just might get the chance to pay out the arse sooner than you think. Get a third job!

How the hell can he go and charge that much for tickets without even having an AFC Finalist banner in the stadium?

I don't get it.

Ouch... Well, bye-bye to any dreams I had of ever seeing the Pats play in the new stadium.

(Last game I went to was the final regular season home game in 2000... Haven't been able to get tickets since.)

We should all pitch-in to buy an invisible hot-air balloon to float over the field in...
