OK we've all gotten tired of 16 weeks of cameragate, running up the score gate, classlessgate, eye poke gate and you guys suck gate so lets put it on the line.
There are 31 other teams in the NFL. If Bill Belichick became available after the Superbowl how many of the fan bases would beg their owners to hire him at any price?

Norv Turner? or BB?
Norv can dance better than BB......for a white-guy, plus he actually smiles when he wins a Playoff game against a for-sh!t team who had no business being in the playoffs
I'll stand pat, patting Norv, please :hello:

He actually wouldn't be my first choice, but that has nothing to do with Spygate, or his abilities as a coach which are second to none.
Our current defensive personell are totally wrong for the scheme BB typically uses, which would pretty much start a total rebuilding process.
But again, that has nothing to do with BB's abilities as a coach.

I suspect that BB would adopt his defensive scheme to get the most out of the players he has. I wouldn't think that would be a problem.

I wonder if he would stick with a cover 2 base or just try to adapt our current guys to a 3-4?

Name me one coach that won a SB, went onto another team and won another SB. I can't think of any. I can think of several that went to other teams and didn't do jack crap including the quiter Jimmy Johnson.
That applies to players as well. If Brady had been drafted by the Browns he would have been out of the league 3-4 years ago as a nobody and ended up a used cars sales manager at the local Lincoln Mercury dealership. Put him behind Miami's o-line and he would be crippled up like an 80 year old man.
There are too many people that forget this is a team sport. Same as NASCAR and maybe more so. Drivers like Johnson and Gordon get way too much credit. Besides, they are the biggest cheats as well. It's one of the reasons I have gave up on pro sports. I have been a Sox fan since Yaz and Lee were playing in the early 70's. Today, pro wrestling has more credibility than the NFL, NBA and MLB. That's a fact.
