Ok, first and foremost, I've not completely given up hope on the Sox just yet. If Beck can have another shut-down game, momentum swings going back home, and it's possible. Indians just won 3 in a row, why can't the Sox?
However, should the worst happen, I've been trying to think of who I'd root for in the WS. I'm thinking, if such comes to pass I'd jump on the Rockies' bandwagon. Not out of spite for the Indians for beating us (after all, they're playing better right now, period), but just cuz I think the Rockies have had one hell of a run and ought to finish it out with a championship.
Course the Sox would kick their collective asses, but that's another story. :D

If the worst were to happen I'd root for Cleveland. Cleveland is a pretty decent baseball town and they've had to endure some baaaaad teams for a great portion of my life (hell, even my dad's life).
Although, on the flip-side, it would be funny that they would be labled the team that lost to both the World Series to both the Marlins and the Rockies.

I'm with SamBam on this one...as Mike Vick once said "if I don't have a dog in the fight, I ain't in the fight"

Word!
I don't watch baseball if the Sox aren't involved. I'll be a full-time Pats fan and a fringe Celts fan.
I might get interested again in December when Theo decides to spend like a drunken sailor on another guy with a high OBP and "promise"

Theo has a lot of work to do AGAIN this off season. Win or lose. Coco needs to go. Drew should go but no one will want him. Schilling? Timlin probably goes. Mike Lowell...does he get resigned? The Bullpen needs to be rebuilt....AGAIN! And they need another bat. Finally do they make a play for Arod. It will be a busy hot stove season!

I agree with most.. once the sox are done i wont watch another game till next season... that being said I'd probably root for the Rockies. Nothing against the indians but i liked that story of the Rockies giving their money to the widow of their minor league base coach... there is not enough of those stories. Other than that.. with no yankees involved... i could care less

I thought you looked kinda short and green for a human.
On a side note, doubt I'd be glued to the set for any WS games were the worst to happen, but I'd at least keep up with em. And in that, I still say Rockies. Just like the story.
