Alright all, I've been a bit busy and will check back in with more info but I am proud to announce that Dylan Robert Shepherd (all 9 lbs, 7 oz & 21" of him) and his mommy are doing quite awesome.

He was born Tuesday Oct 2nd at 9:26 AM at the Brigham and came home this past Saturday. He had his first pediatric vist this AM and is still, as folks in the medical field keep referring to him as, a "specimen."
I'll check back in when I can to bust out more cuteness but in the meantime, here's some cuteness to snack on:

Glad to see he came out at a healthy size - and I'm sure specimen is a good thing like Superman is a specimen. Congrats, dude.

Yes she does. But I am sure it's for entirely un-related reasons. ;)

The playoffs began the day after Dylan was born and thus far, the Sox are 7-3. The mojo is strooooooong in this young man, I tell you.

Wow. A friend of mine just had his first kid last week, and he was also 9 pounds 7 ounces.

Makes my legs cross just thinking about it...

This is a tough stretch for dad trying to balance baby and baseball. I am very fortunate at night though because he usually will go down for a 3-4 hour stretch, wake up for a feeding, and sleep for another 3 hours. But with these ridiculous 8:30 starts for games that will typically average close to 4 hours, daddy is dragging some serious arse in the mornings. Especially with games like last night because let's face it, regardless of the outcome, I was not going right to sleep immediately after the game.
