A 25-year-old carpenter from Quincy is in serious condition after he was assaulted outside a Yonkers, N.Y. hotel last night by a group of men he said had earlier asked about his allegiance to the Red Sox.

This is just crazy. I'm not fan of Yankee fans but I've never wanted to put one in the hospial. All you need to say is "2004". That should shut them up.

God, I hope the Indian's win...

True, true...but Phillies fans are what Sox fans used to be not 10 years ago.

Actually its not the phillies fans that sux, its the eagles fans. Since they made it to the playoffs you may find some phillies fans and since the eagles are absolutely horrible there may be a change in the tide.. but believe me i live near philly. Eagles fans are the butt of all fans. Oh and if my wife or her family tend to spy on me here... um I mean all the other fans not you.... yeah that will work

I think I'd enjoy having a Yankee fan, or even a couple, jump me like that. Give me free license to throw them the first class beating they all so richly deserve.

Some of the evil empire influence carries into PA, so it's possible that they are Yankees fans.

My two friends that are always with me would take over. Mr Smith, and Mr. Wesson. Always carry a 2 inch 38 cal. with me since my days as a PO in MA, years ago. Don't leave home without it.

Hey, you know what happened .... these sox fans were at a bar, they were probably really drunk and were talking a lot of shit to another big dude that came over who was with his buddy and they got the crap beat out of them because it; this is a common thing to happen when guys are wasted ... it is stupid that they are in 'serious' condition though because you really gotta beat someone up to put them there. I wonder what kind of a fight the sox fans put up and what the guys who won the fight look like ... aw I wish I was there.
