for some crazy reason I see the order going
Pedro
Manny
Papi
Lowell
Drew
Tek
Youk
Crisp
Lugo
I think getting the r/l/r/l/s of the 2-7 is pretty good and Papi isn't moved into the cleanup spot which he dislikes. and if you tyhink about it after the 1st inning it is like having lugo leading off but gets the meat of the order a few extra at bats maybe

I think it's a waste batting Manny 2nd personally. You'll probably think I'm nuts but I wouldn't mind seeing:
Drew
Pedy
Ortiz
Manny
Lowell
Tek
Youk
Crisp
Lugo
You lose the r/l/r in the middle but Lowell hits righties better than lefties this year and it's pretty even over his career.
Even during Drew's struggles he's been an OBP machine w/some speed and Pedy is an absolute perfect #2 hitter.

No matter what lineup they throw out there, it'll be a SHIT-LOAD better than the last time they won the East:
Hosey
Valentin
Vaughn
Canseco
Greenwell
Naehring
Tinsley
Macfarlane
Alicea

Bat Youk second. It's his most effective spot in the order.

Pedy's one of the best hitters on the team. He'll bat 1st or 2nd gah-ron-teeed
