The Mets surpassed the '78 Sox in having the WORST collapse in MLB history. Blew a 7 game lead in 17 days.

Expect Willie Randolph to be out of a job soon.

Actually, I've been noticing, but not really caring because I'm not a Mets fan.

It would be more fun to get some '86 payback and play the Mets and Pedro, but I guess that won't happen.

A red Sox/Cubs World Series would be a network's dream come true.

I want to see a Cubs/Sox Series, I used to live in Chi-Town. Cubbies fans are hardcore. Chicago vs. Boston would be a dream World Series! I'd love to see that matchup! Fenway vs. Wrigley, You can't write a better script!

I thought it was going to happen in '03, then neither one even made it to the WS :(

Would have been better then, but it still would kick ass this year.

I learned that you don't mention the name "Bartman" to White Sox fans. They (and Cubs Fans) are still pissed about it.
