ok.. the problem with the forum is a DNS issue actually... our regsitrar screwed up and is trying to fix it now... but since they are based in New Orleans they are still short staffed and it may take all day. I am taking this opportunity to do some more database work in preperation for the extensive BBS upgrade. In the meantime... the forums ( http://www.todotown.com/~patriots/BB/ ) can be accessed but may be very slow due to my work on the backend.

Sorry about this... direct any nasty emails, etc to the people at Directnic... send any free booze or loose women my way....

hopefully the next few days... the HARD part is prepping the DB... I am making an effort at doing that as we speak.

Once that is done... it is clear sailing...

BTW, we're very reluctant to part with free booze and loose women. There are plenty of figid wives/girlfriends available, if you're interested.

Nope.. but things may go slow for them... especially when I convert the attachments...

Okay thank you. I am just trying to figure out whether I should point people there and deal with the slow board at an odd address, or keep the temp board open for now.

If it's not going to slow Kyle down, then I don't see a problem with posting an update with the link. A brief description of the problem with a warning that things may occasionally run slow would do the job.

Maybe we should have a poll :D
