Best moment in sports last night is when Rick Ankiel received a standing-O when he 1st walked to the plate. The 2nd best story is when he homered in his last AB. I've been rooting for this guy to make it back. I hope he gets to stay.

Ya this was definitely a great story...but another story from that game was JOEL PINIERO pitched seven shutout innings and only gave up 4 hits. WTF! When he was playing for us, you'd be lucky to get one shutout inning from him, nevermind seven.

The Good: Ankiel blasts 2-HR's (http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5hdbrCZp8z9TFfhb9Le1GL4M7gDXA)
The Bad & The Ugly: Ankiel allegedly received HGH in 2004 (http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5i_3T50oRUBrAW-7AYm0cT2sFsHNA)
*sigh*
Is anything on the up-and-up anymore? I guess I believe that he stopped before they were banned outright by MLB but it just seems that with every good story is a shocking one waiting in the shadows.

LOL I think he needs one right about meow
Enough about this HGH crap, (almost) everybody did it and I truly believe that. And if they did, they are going to suffer weakened joints and more injuries. Therefore, the playing field is leveled. End of story.
Play ball!

Yeah, you know what? I'm tired of all this HGH and steriod crap. I'm officially worn out. I'm almost about to say "F" it! If pro athletes want to juice up and shorten their life-span by 20 years and shrink certain parts of the male anatomy, good! Go for it!
I'm tried of EEI, ESPN and everyone else talking about the lastest scandal. Yeah, it's cheating. Yeah, it wrong. Yeah, it sets a bad example for kids. But what are you going to do about it? Blood tests? The player's union isn't going to go for that. Urine tests? Okay, but most of these guys use masking agents.
Hell, they might as well condone it since there's no way to control it. The only way you get caught is if you use your real name when buying them from a "Pharmacy" that under investigation by the FBI (Rodney Harrison, I'm looking in your direction).

What concerns me about 'roids is not the pro athletes that take them. It's the wannabe pro athletes who take them. HS and college kids a like. This is real the problem with this issue.
