OK the wife is going to the grocery store and asked if i needed anything. I said beer. And ice cream.

She said what if i could find some beer flavored ice cream. Or would i rather have ice cream flavored beer.

And i was like....ummm....wow......that might be the single hardest question ive ever had to answer.

So which would you choose.

EDit: Poll making technology is apparentle beyond my capabilities, so you'll just have to do it the old fashioned way.

Considering that I hate the taste of beer, I'd have to go with ice cream flavored beer.

More of an "appletini" guy are we?

Clearly the answer is ice cream flavored beer.

Nope. Drink beer, BUT, there is one way to serve the beer here in Portugal where they add black cherry syrup (known as Groselha here), it removes the bitterness and makes it rather sweet. Rather popular way to drink it here. One of the local breweries even made a specific beer with that mix and called it "Tango"

The weirdest flavor ice cream I've ever had was garlic ice cream, which can be had at the annual Gilroy garlic festival. It's quite strange. It doesn't taste like garlic flavored ice cream - it tastes like garlic and ice cream, separately. That's the only way to describe it; the flavors simply don't combine. Beer might be different tho. I think it might not be a bad idea to make a beer ice cream float. It would have to be a dark beer. Dump a nice creamy vanilla in a tall pint glass, and see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if it was really good.

'Beer-sicles' Grab Regulators' Attention

It might be one of the great alcoholic innovations of the 21st century - the frozen beer pop, served by an Alexandria restaurateur and bar owner in a variety of sizes and flavors like "Raspbeer-y" and "Fudgesicle." But state regulators say the beer-sicles run afoul of rules governing the serving and pouring of beer.

The story of the frozen beer pop began last week at Rustico Restaurant, where executive chef Frank Morales began selling the frozen treats to customers looking for a more adult way to beat the heat.

After weeks of testing several hundred beer varieties to find flavors that taste good on a stick, Rustico finally settled on three flavors: "Raspbeer-y," made with a Belgian, fruit-style beer; "Plum," made from a Belgian Lambic brew; and the "Fudgesicle," made with a stout with bittersweet chocolate undertones. He plans to offer other flavors on a rotating basis.

The beer pops sell for $4 in the six-ounce size, shaped like a traditional Popsicle, and $6 for a larger "beer cone."

The company put out a press release, and an Associated Press reporter placed a call to the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, asking whether a frozen beer would pose any regulatory problems.

Philip Disharoon, special agent in charge of the Alexandria division of the Virginia ABC, said beer must be served in its original container, or served immediately to a customer once it is poured from its original container.

Give me beer flavored beer!

I'm sorry, guys and girls, but beer was made to taste like that. If you don't like it, get a sex on the beach, or a Mike's hard, or some Smirnoff twists (and two rolls of tums)

Chalk up 1 more for beer flavored ice cream.

(there's nothing better than the taste of hops and barely when you burp after a beer)

Definitely ice cream flavored beer. I mean, if it was beer flavored ice cream, it would just TASTE like beer. There probably wouldn't be any alcohol. Whereas with ice cream flavored beer, it's still beer, only it tastes like ice cream.

Now the question is, chocolate or vanilla ice cream flavored beer?

Even if the beer flavored ice cream didn't have any alcohol I would take it for the novelty. But if you can make a white russian who says you can't make beer ice cream? Just add some syrup to the beer and BAM!
