View Full Version : Did a relative of Beckett's Die last night.
Watching the news this morning here in Phoenix and they had a story and I only heard part of it, mentioning someone who died, or was killed, and then they mentioned Josh Beckett and had his piocture on the screen. Anyone have any info on if it was one of his realitves. I was half awake.

Maybe it was that water cooler he beat up in the dugout during the game last night. :D

There were some details released about Rod Beck's death (in Phoenix). Maybe that was what you heard?

I guess JD Drew was not in the ballpark as he was tending to a "personal matter." I certainly don't want to perpetuate rumors but I've heard nothing more than that regarding anything that could be close to this topic.

He was a Beth Israel getting his head surgically removed from his a$$. :D
I'm feeling a bit smarmy today after a loss to the craptastic Orioles...

The O's are 12-5 since the ASB and back to within 5 games of .500 (they were 14 games under .500 when Trembley took over). Don't sell them short, they're tough, especially with Bedard or Guthrie on the mound.

Apparently that was it. Link below. He pitched for the Red Sox at one time so I thought I saw a pic of him on the screen in a Sox uniform and while half awake it sounded like the announcer said Beckett.
