Reds purchased the contract of infielder Mark Bellhorn from Triple-A Louisville.
Odd that the Reds would decide they wanted another infielder on the day on which they got Alex Gonzalez back. Bellhorn hit .243/.371/.416 with 11 homers in 296 at-bats for Louisville. He'll be used pretty strictly as a bench player.
