And, surprisingly enough, the convo wasn't all too bad. Nice that I brought up Torres and had the numbers to go with it. Of course, being right by my computer helped :D

I will say one thing. The 3 times I call in, each of the hosts (Mustard/Johnson the 1st time, the Big Show the 2nd time and now Dennis and Buckley) ALWAYS have this deer in the headlights reaction and come up with some of the dumbest stuff:
With Mustard/Johnson:
Mustard - "Well, you know you can by a TiVO and get the games in the U.S."
Me - "Uh, no I can't."
With Big Show:
Ordway - "Ones from Portugal are always comedians."
Me - "How is that?"
Dennis/Buckley:
Dennis - "Oh, I hear that the Azore is like India where there's alot of big computer companies"
Me - "Uhm, no, nto really. I work for a company of 7 people and that're really how most of the places here are."
Now, let me ask again, just how hard is it to get a degree in Journalism? EEI jobs must be very east to maintain.

Dennis is a phyc major not even a journalist but a old TV guy who can talk to a wall for 4 hours, speaking of a Wall...Callahan is as rounded in his opinions as a wall
god I crack myself up so don't think you have to laugh at my jokes

speaking of Calling sports radio - any other callers beside New England Mike out in the home of the next superbowl?
I called once to ask a question to the producers and not to talk - it was a Frankie Viola Question - forget what the question was but we had a lunch bet on it and I was correct
my little brother would call all the time into Eddie at the beginning of WEEI on 590 am, but after one call where Eddie was looking for a Penguin sound, and brother had a toy Penguin that made some stupid noise, he sang and played Guitar about some stupid sports topic of the day and got hung up on.
Eddie came on the Air calling him disturbed and asking the station to ban him for life. this was about 10-12 years ago - not sure if he calls anymore
