As part of our MBA program at Northeastern University, we have the opportunity to help create awareness and raise funds for Active Force, a local charity that is dedicated to providing adaptive sports equipment to individuals with disabilities. The Active Force Foundation was formed by Lonie Paxton (current New England Patriot) and childhood friend Brook Duquesnel after a snowboarding accident in 1998 left Brook paralyzed from the waist down.
We would like to invite you to a Charity Gala at Umbria Ristorante 295 Franklin St, Boston on Thursday, November 9, 7pm-12am. Restaurateur Frank De Pasquale will be donating Antipasti (appetizers) from his award-winning menu. Lonie Paxton and other New England Patriot players are hoping to attend the event. Sports memorabilia will be sold at an auction. Door prizes donated by local businesses will be given away throughout the evening. Tickets are available at either $25 per person, or $40 for two tickets. Prize donations for the auction would be appreciated as well. (All net-proceeds go to Active Force)
