I just looked at the top posters link, SamBam with 3400 posts already? Wow. You guys are smokin.

I just published the RSS feed from here in a bunch of different places, may help a little, but probably not too much. I have been looking for a baseball fan site alliance like we have with PP with the F2FA, but I haven't found any as yet. Getting the word out on rival forums is a good way to attract visitors.

yeah it would be nice to get some other teams in here ( i know we have a few but more would be nice) i mean if we don't have any posters from other teams, we only have ourselves to fight with haha.

Well, one thing that happens when you attract rival fans on their board is there is often fans of your own team hanging around there that didn't know you exist. I'd be willing to bet there are a lot of Sox fans on the Yankees boards.

When I first set up the rep, I didn't want to make it too easy for everyone to max out, but seeing them after the board has been running awhile, it looks like I set them too high, so I cut all the values about in half, some more. It should be easier to get 2,3,4,5 pips now...then it starts getting a little harder.

I dunno, personally i think your on juice. We need a commission on this site and start testing some of these " big posters ". I think the results would eliminate a lot of these posters. And don't give me that "everyone is on them" excuse!!!!

Dammit!!!!! I came on and saw my rep meter and thought people actually liked me... now i'm learning that the standard has been lowered!!!!! Talk about building up my confidence then slamming me down to earth... that really hurt :(

Well, well, I always seem to miss out on the good stuff.LOL. Gald to hear that the message board is doing so well. I personally like coming to this board and not just because I am a Red Sox fan. Everyone's posts that I read are great. The baseball knowledge level here is off the charts folks. I seem to learn something from everyone and I always enjoy adding that knowledge to my Red Sox fan toolbelt. Course there is times when I feel like the biggest tool on here because I don't know what to say or add to a post. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am not as baseball savvy as everyone else is so when I do actually post I really don't want to sound like or come across as a tool. Anyway, I do enjoy being here. Go Red Sox.!!!!!!
