after Cy Young pitched for the Pads last nite and dazzled, I was was looking for a different effort from the RedSox 9 today

it was nice to see some nice at bats against Peavey making him work his ass off til they wore him down

Beckett pitched well albeit against a weak-hitting (by BA average standards) team, seemingly going back to his National League, lets-play-for-one-run-win roots today

a very, very nice win today against a formidable, league leading hurler in a pitcher's park

Taking 2 out of 3 is awesome. I'm happy with the win and extra happy that the Yankees lost. And another good start by Beckett.
