After Mike Timlin's latest rehab outing last night in Pawtucket, it's still going to take a little while before he returns to the big club.
Timlin is going to throw Sunday in Norfolk. He might go two innings, perhaps an "inning-plus," Terry Francona said.
He'll follow that up by pitching on Wednesday in Richmond, then he'll be tentatively scheduled to return to the club in Arizona.
"That's assuming everything goes according to plan, which we think it will," Francona said.

Way to give an almost-dead team new life, guys... let 'em kick your ass at home in the first game of the series. :mad:

This is the reason why I haven't gotten too excited about the hot start and the big lead. Everyone's already buried the Yankmes, but there are still over 100 games to go. The Sox can easily go into a slide, and the Yankmes can easily start rattling off wins. I'll get truly excited when the lead is bigger than the games left to play; until then, I don't trust those "Damn Yankees" for a second!
