Mike Timlin was placed on the disabled list before tonight's game with right shoulder tendinitis. Devern Hansack was called up from Pawtucket to take his place.
Timlin, despite earning his first save of the season last night, had struggled so far this season after beginning his 2007 on the disabled list with a strained left oblique. He had a 6.23 ERA, having allowed at least one run in four of his nine appearances this season.
Hansack, meanwhile, had dominated in his first two starts with the PawSox, going 1-3 with a 3.77 ERA. He had 34 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings.

That's my prediction - IF the offense can get going. Like I said, he always has 1 inning like this, and the rest are pretty good, so maybe he got that inning out of the way early.
