I voted "other" because any baseball fan will tell you that "Centerfield" by John Foggerty just epitomizes playing ball. They play it before every home game.

I should have mentioned that I dig Sweet Caroline too. It's funny, it's a recent addition to Fenway (almost as young as Tessie) and some Sox fans hate it--probably because of a strong dislike for Neil Diamond.

I love Tessie since I like the Dropkick Murphys but I picked Dirty Water since it's been around longer and they play it when the Sox win. :)

I didn't like when the Big O and D&C, et al were bagging on Tessie during the '04 run. It just proved how parochial and stodgy they are. Tessie is a song for the younger crowd. Plus, Tessie tells you a little bit about the really old days of the Royal Rooters and the crazy crowds they used to have at the begining of the 20th century. Good stuff!
