Just curious, are there any plans to develop a Bruins Planet and/or a Celtics Planet?

It crossed my mind, but I am not sure there would be enough interest.

If the Celtics get Oden or Durant people are going to start jumping on the bandwagon...would you consider it then?

I'd be all for a Celtics Planet. I've been a fan since the Reggie Lewis era (RIP). I just missed the Bird (in his prime) era. I was only 7 in '86.

Yeah, I got a little green in me .. I'd be in.

Hey, who knows, maybe PP can turn into the next big sports site.

EDIT: For the New England area, anyways!

I'll keep the thought. As said before VB is expensive. I want to give soxplanet more time before expanding more.

UT-

Have you given any thought to setting up a sub-forum for other Boston/New England Sports talk (Non-Red Sox related)? I have seen this on other sports message boards and it seems to keep things organized (though, chaos is fun :D).

We could always try out a Celtics and/or Bruins Thread in a sub-forum around draft time and throughout the season(s) to see if it's popular or not.

With all-due respect, the one forum set up is probably the best for now. I dont think we have the volume of posters to start splitting forums. And youre right - chaos is fun :)

So now that the Celtics have KG, Pierce, and Allen - how 'bout a Celtics Planet! :D

I have the domain, but I am hesitant to pull the trigger as the software is pretty expensive and there may not be enough interest after the trade thing dies down.

Why not set it up on Invisionfree?

Yeah, I'll look into something. I set up Wordpress there now thinking we could do some sort of blogging community, but I dunno, its not really what I was looking for I guess. There are a couple of free BBS packages. I'll look into Invision and PHPbbs.

Maybe you could set up a Celtics subforum on PatsPlanet as a trial and see how much traffic it gets.

Ok.

I set up an ugly site at http://www.celticsplanet.com

Feel free to use it and try to make something out of it. It is ugly.

I vote for Bruins Planet, just because I like hockey, and don't care about the NBA.

I agree with Vincent on this. That there is life on them. Whether a scientist can see it or not. Why else would you need all the planets for? Decoration?
