So far they are wasting the Sayid character. He couldn't figure out that they would be after the boat first and foremost? Doesn't he remember that if the others don't want to be seen, you won't see them? Sayid is supposed to be a badass, but they really made him look weak this episode.

Next week we get to a few of the more interesting characters, Locke, Desmond, and Ecko.

That was a pretty cool ending though. Jack couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Sawyer is a con man, his whole schtick is to manipulate what people think they know about him. I'd bet Kate's dress on him knowing they were listening.

Think for a minute what he said at the end. "Now we wait for them to make a mistake".

The others will now think he won't be doing anything soon, assuming they believe what he says. Thus if he does something quickly, he could catch them by surprise.

Of course if they know that he knows, than they know he knows, that they know that he knows, ........., than they know he knows they are listneing, it could get confusing.

BTW was anyone else LOL about the Red Sox and the World Series bit?
