nothing much going on today, you have to feel for Lidle and the family. horrible thing that happened. Add the 12 FFighters who were injured - nothing serious - and NY city must be a little rattled

Yeah, it's always shocking when a "celebrity" dies in tragic fashion.

A cute, amusing aside from yesterday...my son is living and working in Brooklyn. He called last night to ask why we hadn't checked up on him. He assumed we'd be frantic since he spends alot of time in Manhattan. Of course, we knew he was at work when the accident happened and there'd be no logical reason for him to be in that area. But he genuinely sounded hurt that we didn't call.

Kids?! :p

That whole thing was pretty twilight-zoneish....thankfully it wasn't any worse than it was. Did there end up only being two casulties? Annihilus didn't see the news after he left work.

yeah that is a tough one, He just likes hearing from his parents - that is a good thing and reflect positively on the parents - and wanted to be missed. I can see that

Just two...Lidle and a flight instructor that was with him.
